I've got a Punto 1.4 T-Jet 09 reg. I noticed that the pipes going into and out of the box with an arrow on it, located top centre of the engine bay, are both cracked. First question is this something to do with the ventilation system? Second can these pipes be repaired?

At the top center of the engine bay is the ecu, I think it may be the covers for the wiring going to it, im not sure if you can replace but you could wrap it with electrical tape.
Thats how they are (i think) they look like cables to the plugs for the ecu the conduit is split to allow wires to be inserted and exit at various points yet afford protection from chafing
