FIAT 500, Grande Punto Sound and Punto Evo AIR BAG ACTIVATION.

This is a thread going back to last year (search under "airbag recall" to find out). You're correct that Campaign Ref 5483 relates to an airbag software update required for some Punto Evos and Grande Puntos (perhaps some 500s, too).

Like Mozerella, I currently have a 60-plate Grande Punto Sound, registered September 2010, and the recall also applied to me.

If you're not sure if your car is affected, why not contact your local Fiat dealer and ask them - I imagine they could easily check the VIN numbers, etc.
