Now that's a matter of personal choice -if you're heavily into shiny rubber then you can forget about the flooring & wear a wet-suit when driving if that's your thing
As for me i splashed out on a piece of black carpet (Flea-bay Item number: 200598379797) & some 'mock carbon fibre' sticky backed plastic to make up panels to cover the bracketry that's been removed (scarred for life by Blue Peter). Will post some pics when it's all finished.

Not heavily into rubber but I will ask the wife anyway. Luckily I don't have to buy carpet of any kind as I work for a flooring company so have access to many materials, but I was thinking carbon fibre myself. Love to see the pics, even if its mid fit out
