Vandalised Brava wing mirror

Folks,

8 cars in our street were vandalised last night - some cnuts pulled all the drivers side wing mirrors from all the parked cars. Fortunately, my mirror itself is not damaged, but the black plastic plate that conects the mirror to the car body is badly damaged and needs replacing - it's not pushing back in and part of it has snapped off.

I'll be grateful if anyone can advise if I can by this part seperately from the dealers and the cost involved, or if I have to buy the whole mirror asssembly. I think there's a bolt under the mirror which may let me detach the mirror from this plastic part.

Thanks in advance - best wishes,
David

As far as I have worked out before, the oouter plate is not available on its own. The inner one is though! The mirror and outer plate are one unit and are attached from the inside - I did a set of instructions for someone which I will dig out if you need them.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply, Nige. Dealer has confirmed outer plates are not available separately. The total cost for supplying, painting and fitting the replacement mirror and plastic plate is £138. If only I can find the cnuts who done it. Once again, thanks for taking the time m8...

Doesn't it make you sick. Exactly the same thing happened to me, I'd been wondering if the bracket bit could be purchased seperately... Looks like I'll be continuing with the monthly reapplication of black duct tape!

Try Desira Bury - they have a sale on of old bravo/a kit and I know they had a wing mirror for £25.

Cant remeber any more than that and I havent got time to find the info as I am off out - have a search
