1999 T reg Brava.

31000 miles but ex smash, been repaired needing only small tidying up jobs. Bodywork actually pretty damn good.

HSX spec, 1.6 engine but only 1 blue key.

Now I'm not the sort of person who loses keys or breaks them, so I'm wondering if only having 1 key is that end of the world (can't remember if its possible to do a blue to blue key copy at Timpsons).

What would you be prepared to pay for that car if you were after it?

Ta!

Haven't you asked this before Ins?

I would probably offer £800 Max.

Go for the Bravo JTD HLX on EBay, ex damage repaired car. However i remember the car having an ECU fault but if your local you could always check it.

Yeah I have asked about this before mate.

£800 was what I was thinking. The car is back up on ebay, I've emailed the chap - seen the car in the flesh as its just 1 mile away from me.

Had a reply today of "make me an offer you may be surprised."

-

Noticed that JTD HLX on ebay as well. Emailed about keys - only 1 blue. I had noticed the fault error has been removed from the listing.

Both cars are rather appealing but concerned with the fault code appearing.

Trouble is, I'm Mr Indecisive :)

Ins like the saying goes, if its not broke, why fix it.

So if your cars ok, and everything works, then why change?

Joske

Also dont forget maybe these cars may go cheap but you may need to pay £££'s if something goes worng with them.

Before you bid on the blue JTD on ebay you may want to HPI check it. If we're talking about the same one, i HPI'd it last time it was on and it still has outstanding finance. Just thought you'd better know.

^^ I bet its this one, its been on ebay before.

I know what you're saying Joske, I just feel like I should make a change to summat newer. But at the same time, my car recently has been running so well (just wait for a post tomorrow saying otherwise) that it prolly would be daft to change for a 'risky' car.

There is a lovely Orange HLX on ebay tho in Colchester that looks mint - got both red and blue keys too. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4590525161&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Nice or what?!

This post contains eBay links which may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
Yeah thats the one. Looks good but the finance could cause problems and make it more expensive than the ebay price.

Anyone got a 10ft bargepole? If so, keep it :)

Think I might offer summat low for the 31k Brava and see what happens (or not!).

How much would you be willing to spend on a Bravo and would you be interested in a jtd?
I am thinking about selling my 51 plate jtd. Mileage is a bit on the high side (70K+)but it has a full service history and I have had it from new.
