Re: Re: Re: Re: yeah

no.... cat 1 aftermarket..... not saying which tho... a select few know.. sorry but i dont want it publisized

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: yeah

Oh right, CAT 1 alarms are all the same, they all do the same protections, however you can add tilt sensors, shock sensors, etc etc.

Dunno why you dont wanna say.

Well i was thinking about the Fiat Alarm so i cant help ya out mate.

Im sure its a system check tho. Checks all the sensors and siren are working.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: yeah

If it's a clifford alarm, I have one and it has a valet mode. It's mainly for when ur car goes into a garage you can put it in to valet mode to stop the doors locking after 30 secs or whatever, but you can also use it to change settings such as whether it beeps etc. It will be hidden otherwise theives would use it to turn the alarm off, I don't know where mine is as the alarm was on the car when I bought it, take it to the dealer that installed it, that's what I am going to do.

Not sure why you don't want people to know what kind of alarm it is tho, strange, mine has clifford stickers all over to show thieves that I have an alarm.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: yeah

cos every alarm must have a fault... some where... so i got no stickers saying what mine is... just a stick saying it has 1... if they knew wat it isthey might know a way to get round it

just me being silly i guess but thats me :S

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: yeah

alarms are more of a deterent than anything else mate - if someone avoids your car cuz of the stickers then job well done!
