Hi guys, errm question for the tuners/ techy blokes!, alfa's 3.0/3.2v6 lump. Is it able to go in the bravo? Im aware I have a diesel one so would have more work then normal, but I couldnt see any other threads about it, any one tried this? Or heard of anyone trying this? I have access to other cars to drive so wouldnt be a problem if toke a while, errm im aware there would be Magor electrical adaptions etc,, differant running gear, I would be willing to fettle the subframe etc to make things sit/ rest better,

And before you all say by one, I got mine and now csnt really sell it for a long time now! Im stuck with it for atleast 4/5 years, as child arriving soon and other reasons! Many thanks in advance.
 
Oh haha, you think thats the way it goes? I guess the lump aint cheap, but I assumed most of it would just be hardship manual labour!!!
 
Well only reason I ask is the bravo and stilo are similar in many way, and the shassis is prob very close if not identical, and the stilo had the 2.4 stright 5, noe the stilo was similar to the 147? I may be wrong as qwoting on a wimm, but the 147 did get a v6 lump???? And if not the 156 did, and that would be change of basics, not whole car,,

Please correct me if I am wrong.
 
Old Bravo and Tipo are more similar than Bravo and Stilo.
Platform Tipo/Bravo is basically same.
The best way to swap engines is to have both cars side by side and get to work-wire by wire, bolt by bolt.
Biggest problem are engine mounts and maybe shafts
If you just like v6 sound-go for it.
 
Thanks for reply, yeaah I seen one cheap thats all, shafts etc is just modifying To fit mounts as you say, its a new shape bravo, mjet 150, errm I did think about the fiat 2.4 but there is minimal power gains so no point for amount ofwork where as if I can get extra 70-100 brake just from 30/3.2 swap, then mod, to me sound more worth the bleeding knuckles!
