General V5.41 Software

Hi,

It seems the new version of RT3 software (V5.41) has been released. I am going to burn a CD and try it later.

It is available on the www.eurovan2.com forum under the members page.

Before anybody else downloads it, it is a EuroVan2 website April Fools joke.

I actually downloaded and opened it, I thought the file was a bit small

I must admit, when I got to the download site via hyperlink, I was surprised no full instructions i.e. don't use Nero, etc. Only 300k as well - but hey, I opened it like everyone else did. My, did I smile!!!!

A word of warning. This would be a perfect way to spread a virus onto a PC. Worse still if somebody knew something about the RT3 software they could potentially amend the code to screw-up your car.

Just a thought.

can anyone tell me how to get a downloadable version of rt3 v5.4/5.41? I've tried downloading from eurovan2 but the link does not work. intend to update from version 5.3 on connect nav system on 03 plate ulysse eleganza

Which link, Stack?

The above was a wind-up, btw. Check out the posting dates, it was on April 1st, and the 5.41 download was a spoof file. However, 5.41 is currently due anytime, should fix a few problems like telephone quality, maybe.

The best way to upgrade is to speak to your local dealer - 5.4 is a must, especially if you got Nav+.

If not, then register on Eurovan2 site, and look on there. I think you have to burn using certain burn software, not Nero.
