Technical Urgent Recall Letter

Hi All
Received a letter from Fiat the other day informing me that my 500 Pop might have a problem with some wires around the steering column!
I have booked the car into the Dealers on Tuesday to have this checked out and they say it will take approx. 45mts to carry out. Have any other members had this recall carried out?.

Bill, hi, this is nothing to worry about, the recall consists of putting 2 cable ties around a section of wiring under the steering column. The job takes about three minutes. Our TA was done on its first service last August. To be honest, I'm surprised its taken Fiat so long to get the letter out to you.

Yes, my twinair had this done around noverber time last year...basically all it is is a cable tie or clip to hold up a sagging wire behind the dashboard.
