Urgent ICE advice needed please..

Hi all
After pulling my hair(wots left of it ) out deciding what to to get to give my Brava a punchy bassy sound,I've decided that i'll invest in a 12" JBL 1000w(250 rms)sub & enclosure,powered by a 1000w amp.I already have a decent set of components up front.
I have a 360w max amp wiring kit installed at the moment which I think wont do for the setup I'm trying to achieve.
Can I have some advice please on what to actually buy to acheive the sound I'm after..?

Sub, 1cuft sealed box, amp, wiring kit. I seriously doubt your wiring kit is up to the job, 360W MAX is not a lot of power.

Look for a 4 guage wiring kit, they are £20-30.

I agree Tom re the wiring kit.I'll upgrade to a 4 guage a suggested.
Does the 1000w sub and amp package instal give a good punch at high volumes ,without cipping would you know.?

Also would I need to change just the power cable to a 4 guage or will I need a full kit to cater for the above..?

Everything you need to wire it up.

It will go loud, not window breaking car alarm setting off loud but it will go starting to get painful loud. JBL make some good kit, the amps are really good for the money.

The JBL subs are pretty punchy too.

I had a £40 Jensen 10" sub from Maplin to start with... now I don't even want to think how much ££ has gone into the car
