hi guys

a friend of mine is doing me a big favour and he successfully installed a Hawk alarm on my 1999 bravo.

everything is working fine except for the automatic window closers.

can someone please guide us and tell us how to go around doing the automatic windows closing? which wires are used from the car etc?

we're in doubt if the window module is faulty or not, but then again, we are unsure which wires from the car to use.

any help is MUCH appreciated. if someone could also supply the wiring diagram of my car it would help a lot. (td75, 1999, with AC if it makes any difference)

thanks a lot everyone!

What wires did you use for everything else Kyle as I still haven't fitted mine :(

I gave my car to my friend and he did everything, had some trouble finding the wires as the info sent by hawk did not match. took him 3 days but at least its a job done.

phoned HAWK this morning, they are very helpful. told me what each wire does (for the window module) but now I am left with finding where the two wires from the window module have to go ...

the guy on the phone told me that they should be hooked up with the drivers side switch.

So if anyone knows which wires from the switch are used to pull up / pull down the windows, please let me know.

thank you very much

test it with a tester.take the actual switch out the door card and press the switch whilst putting in the tester in each wire in the plug and you should get your answer.

Insurance deposit then tax next then back on the road :)

so a little update...

as already said, I had phoned HAWK to instruct me how to install the window module properly, and this is what they told me:

diagraaaaaaam.jpg

we followed the instructions and diagram , and now I am left with one problem.

with the car key out of the ignition, only the passenger window goes up.

with the car key turned to ON, both windows go up.

are we missing something? all I know is that the driver window is one touch (while the passenger window isn't).

thank you very much
