i had to take me new fiat bravo to the garage today. the brakes have been making a terrible noise and its been getting worse and worse over this week

am terrified of what they gonna say



feel a big hole developing in my pocket though.






damn fiats me cinq cost me loads and now this is gonna cost me loads

if its just a loud squeeking, dont worry, it'll just be your pads or disks need replacing. get a haynes manual and do it yourself-£70ish for parts

just got me car back after it being fixed at the garage

and they did

Brake disks x 2
Brake pad set x 2
new tyres x 4
safety valves x 4
wheel balance x 4
wheel allignment

and its all sorted now. no more annoyingly scary noise. and yes it was expensive but well safety first.

what are safety valves!! also why did it need 4 new tyres balancing and tracking if it was just a noise from the brakes???

think they saw you coming bud you should really learn a bit about cars to stop yourself getting stung!

Safety valves will be the tyre valves.

Also did they recomemnd the tyres needed replacing berfore they did it.

If they just changed them, but yours were perfectly good you can refuse to pay, but i would say its too late now as you have accepted the bill by paying it.

Really Unlucky, I agree with Ash mate. I thing they saw you coming.

nah the car was in a bad way. they rang us and spoke about the job and said do they want us to do the work or not. Plus they wouldn't rip us off there they no us too well


and we said do it. just make sure the car is safe.
