There is a great technique to avoid getting caught.

1. Take notice of round signs with numbers on. Make mental note of number.

2. Align needle of speedometer to corresponding number and continue until a different numbered sign appears.

I have adopted this technique and still have a clean license.

you seem quite comfy up there on that high horse of yours.... how i love the righteous...

All I am saying is that if you are that worried about fines/points you shouldn't speed. It's not that difficult to keep in the limit. Or if you do want to boot it, then be prepared for a fine. I will not say that I stay within the law at all times, but if I got caught I would know why. You can't have it both ways.

Unless your Jenson!!

Come on Rob, no need! Totally valid point but still doesn't answer the (perfectly reasonable) question.

Perhaps we should all start putting "(TIC)" after Tongue-In-Cheek comments so people know we're joking and not having a pop.

FAO Tom - may be best if you just put (TIC) in your signature to save you some time eh? (TIC)

;)

I was not having a pop, first comment was obviously very TIC, but my point is if you do speed, you have to be prepared to get caught. When I do it, I know the risks and so if I got pulled by Sy-B, I would have no case to argue.

I may insert TIC into a sig, most of my day is spent with my tongue in a sideways position ;)
