To continue my question from yesterday. Do Supersprint just make double barrelled back boxes for a 1.2 or a 1.4 bravo. As i said yesterday i want the double barrelled look, but not the noise!

http://www.modworld.1st-hosting.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=31_184&products_id=1478

i realise i'll probably get a lot of abuse for that idea from that website, but are exhaust tips really that bad, if your just looking to give a better appearence. Are they noisy? Do they look ****?

You wouldn't be able to fit a tip like that because of the kink in the fiat pipe. If you see a proper fiat tip, they are designed with a bend in them.
And no, a tip won't change the noise at all.

Lol, i just don't know what to do :'(. I want a double barrel exhaust, but only a backbox system. The opinion varies from person to person, everyone on here seems to recommend supersprint, but i cant seem to find backboxes for sale that are doublebarrelled, im only 17, i can't afford the entire syetem. i was gonna go for a remus exhaust but people don't seem to like em on here.

I've not changed my backbox myself, but I remember a post a long while back about it, and I think it was particularly hard to fit a twin exit exhaust on a bravo, as the fuel tank is right in the way, so the pipe has to go a long way round. I'm sure there's a couple of people on this forum who can advice, but I recon you have to go to a specialist custom exhaust company (like supersprint) get them to have a look at it and give you a quote.

fom what i understand its not the pipe as such that makes all the noise its the siz of the actual box and how much of it is dampened if i'm wrong someone please corect me.

where abouts are you based?

Down in ye old South, Bucks. N e 1 else from Bucks here? I'm not so much looking for a twin exit exhaust, i mean like 2 pipes on one back box. Remus make some nice looking ones, however really expensive! My budget on an exhaust would be £200 which isnt really a lot and really limits my options. Ben...What alloys are they on your car btw? They are 17s i assume? Is teh car lowered?

my advice would be to hang on a bit save an extra £100 and get a full system i got a full system fitted to my bravo for £295 including parts and labour

My wheels are 17" Kosei Racer's, and it's lowered 35mm. They actually look a smidge bigger than thet, My mate's got the wolfrace copies(Mantis I think they're called) in 18" and they actaully look about the same size!

I would have thought £200 would be plenty for a backbox, (see http://www.fastfiat.com but like I said, it's something I still need to get round to doing (ie convince the girlfriend to let me do!!)

Scott

I guess that's a good plan really..that a supersprint? It looks wicked. Hmmm in that time i could afford an abarth kit instead...lol decisions decisions

Are they universal? They don't give off that horrible, 'i hear a chav coming' kind of sound then...

if you want the looks ihout the sound your best having a system custom built to your spec, you can choose the width of the down pipe, back box and exhaust tip to mak it as loud of as quiet as you want its prolly worth saving up the extra 100 notes
