Just bought a 2000 1.6SX - very pleased apart from factory fitted stereo that's already packed up! Anyway when I accelerate and decelerate you can here a sort of "whooshing" noise coming from the near side front around floor level. Should I be worried?

I'd appreciate any thoughts...

mine does this, lol i was told it is my fan belt that just need tightning more.

I may be wrong but if your fanbelt needed tightening, it would slip and squeal. I think it's more likely to be that it's quite new and tight.
