Hi,

I've just bought a 1.8 Bravo, I didn't know it heated seats until I burned my B***. Problem I have is that the passenger seat works, light comes on and heats up, but nothing happens on the drivers side.

Does anyone know what the problem is and how much it will cost to fix?

Also I don't know if this is relate dbut there's a loose wire under the drivers seats, is this connected?

im guessin that that loose wire is meant to plug in somewhere... get down there and take a look, c if u can spot anything..

I too have a 1.8 HLX and it has heated seats, I'm afraid I can't offer any knowledge about why it's not working or how much it's going to cost.
What I would like to know is where is this light that comes on to tell you that the seats are warming? Both my seats work, heating wise, but I have no light that tells me they are on.
Mine's an X reg, was this light removed on later Bravos or am I going to have to kick up some stink (just after my 1 years warranty has expired, Oh no!)?

I have a Y reg 1.6 HLX with heated seats.
The light is only a small L.E.D located on the outside of the seat. If you open either door you should be able to see it.
My driver side heated seat went off and it needed a new heating pad. Luckily it was in warranty because it would've cost either £200 or £400 I can't remember which.

Thanks John, that clears up another mystery as I had also wondered what that LED was for too! ha ha. Bravo explained!

Mine have gone twice..... both times its been the heating pads. Mine was under warrenty too

I can almost be certin it'll be the bads though mate.

If there is a wire loose under the seat its probably the heated seat power wire! It does dangle quite a lot and is easily unplugged.

Plug the connector back in and i bet it'll be fine.
