[green stuff pads]

i am after some green stuff pads for my 1.4 12V beast

i sent an e-mail off to EBC and they said that the pad i need is "DP21059" for the front.

i also asked for the pads i will need for the rear fiat coupe disks (which i have courtisy of ribzz) but they said "DP1214" which are the standard pads not the green stuff, do they make green stuff pads for the rear?

so has anyone got these pads and where did you get them from ? preferably online somewhere, and are they as good as they are claimed to be? i am only after them because i am fed up of cleaning my alloys every saturday because of the brake dust

You do not need or want 'hot' pads on the rear. They will never get warm enough to be of any use.

ahh ok, so any recomendations tom ? i want a pad with no brake dust, i have 10spoke alloys and they are a nightmare to keep clean, lol

so i just need a pad with no brake dust for the rear.

Standard EBC. Remember they won't do anywhere near as much work as the fronts so brake dust will be alot less anyway.

EBC do not actually do Greenstuff for the rear for exactly the reasons Tom mentioned. Just use the blackstuff if you want all round EBC. I had BS on the rear of my HGT and they were no different than normal pads.

Hi mate.

I have a set of EBC GreenStuff pads and EBC discs up front on my 1.6 SX and they are the ******. Cleaning my OZ SuperLeggeras were a nightmare before i fitted the EBCs. I now have a set of 6 spokers and they are always clean. lol.
