Hello all,

Just got myself a 1.0l IE Uno :)

Just wondered if anyone had a wiring diagram for it?
(I know the Hayne's manual has one, but I'm too skint/cheap
to buy one until next payday ;) )

Thanks

-jonny

I have the Haynes for Uno.

Can't promise quick reply due to working carp hours ATM, but if you can wait...

Will trade my interpretation of Haynes' daigrams for information about exactly where to look on Unos for rust (considering getting one).

the wiring diagrams take up about 20 pages... and there not that easy to follow[:(!]

oh and the haynes manual doesnt cover your car... its the one i have. it does have stuff that relates to the car but nothing that is directly bassed on the car. it does help alot tho except for some things such as wiring and some engine bits, you have to take educated guesses

Uno "Fire" 999cc
Lowered 40mm Uprated Gmax shock & Spring system
Fox Evo3 15" Alloy Wheels
3" Rage Backbox
Corbeau Clubmans
E-Tech hatch Spoiler (FOR SALE, PM ME!)
450W 12" Boschmann Sub
330W Pioneer 6x9s
500W SPLX Amp

I haven't used the Uno Haynes I have in anger yet (1983 to 1995 version).

AFAIK it covers most things in usual Haynes fashion - except the diesel engine.

The diagrams seem OK to me:
there are many pages as they relate to different sections of different models.

The offer still stands.

Thanks guys, I'm sorted now.
It turns out someone at work used to have an Uno
and still had a manual.
Shame it doesn't seem to cover my version of the car...

Cheers,

Jonny.

It does almost your version. It covers the 1108, and it's mainly the same setup as yours. You might find some differences though, because of an introduction of new gearbox amongst other things. But it's all there. You should take the time to completely read part 13, because it covers a mix-up between turbo, 1.1, 1.3 and so-on. It is very possible you will find info about your car in the theoretically wrong place in the book. This is at least my experience.

Yeah i agree, the book does in sorts cover the i.e. start for example it has a large part about th eengine management system etc.

Trouble is, most of it is in the revision sections and about everywhere!
