Hi guys, relatively new here, and this is my first post. So a little nervous! 😬 I’m thinking of getting an uno turbo, and I’m just wondering if any of you guys would say it’s a good idea,or not so. Are they temperamental? Are they daily use cars? I don’t really want something that’s in and out of the garage every other week! It’s a mk2 I have my eye on. I had a 1L uno, and I loved it! Popped around like a dream! I also have another 1L uno sitting in my garden that’s a work in progress….
Thanks for any help and advice guys 🥰

I loved my 1.0.fire models too, 😎
(much nicer than the 141 panda line, I've owned more pandas than most..)

Started with a mk1 1108 selecta. Wouldn't do that again though

Similar reasoning..
Too high maintenance, making it impractical as a daily

My long term daydream...
Mk2 punto with a 2008 era 1248cc mj diesel

Power to weight would be brilliant,
and VERY reliable ☺️

The electric power steering in the mk2 Puntos ruined them for me. Never got on with it, especially in the HGT that I owned for a short while.

OP - I’d daily an Uno Turbo no problem whatsoever, but I wouldn’t have it as my only car. You’ll want a back up for the times that the Uno is off the road. Of course, there’s so much else to consider for your use case. Mileage, type of driving, location, your skill level as a home mechanic, etc…
