I've been looking around for a bit to see if anyone has done anything similar to what I'm planning. I can't see it so I'm going to ask.
I've got an uno 70 SX IE. In the shed I have an UT engine + turbo plus spare everything, I also have a 1500cc x1/9 engine thats going to stay sitting where it is for a while...
Question #1
What I'm thinking/want to know, is if the 70 engine is the same as the UT one just minus all the turbo bits. read: can I just bolt on the turbo/manifolds etc to the 70SX engine, use the stock computer etc. this would be really handy if I could.
Question #2
Does the brake master cylinder need to be moved to accommodate all this? what other changes do I need to make?
Question #3 (and final for tonight)
Is the mark2 (its a mark2 by the way) gearbox the same as the UT/Tipo one? I seem to remember that last time I drove one it felt like one.
