General uno turbo mk1 general questions

Hey guys just wondering...

do mk1 uno turbo (mine is 87) come with green top injectors?
and a gold ignition system?
Just wonderin coz i have already discovered alot of aftermarket parts that werent stated on the auction when i bought it and am wanting to upgrade injectors but am not sure if theyv already been upgraded?

also am taking down to merimeri strip on 6th december! hoping for some high 13s!

What turbo does it have? I doubt you'll get close to a 13s 1/4 mile.

Stock injectors are blue. what is the part number?

13's! Hmm - look to get into the high 14's if you're feeling optimistic!

not sure of part number sorry. It pulled away from a earlier model wrx and legacy b4 on 14 psi just to give u an idea. am still hopefull for low 14s igh 13's and now has semi slicks so should only spin in first

I thought you were going to get a video of your UT showing this kind of performance? And I thought your UT wasn't running properly so how come you're able to pull away from a WRX/ Legacy?

It isnt running well at the moment.. but that dosnt have to say it never was. Ran mint until i went to meremere

Obviously did go as planned but within the next 3 months there will be another! im promising low 14's but im hoping high 13's. Please dont say no u won bla bla bla wait and see

The fastest Uno 1/4 mile in NZ is 13.6s. The next fastest is around 14.5s. Then there are a lot in the high 14's.

All respect to you if you can get into the 13's. Lets see what you've got.

Lack of traction must be the one of the biggest limiting factors at the high end of drag racing an Uno, I know I suffer rediculous amounts wheelspin in my standard 60S despite being on 185/60 14 Pirellis!

Even our puny 45HP of our 1.0i.e. will spin our 185/60/13s if you have the revs at max torque from a standing start

yea your right it definately is! I have some semi slick tyres now but as i say im not using car atm so unable to test it. Hopefully i wont get spin in 2nd now!

Thats a good time! is that .4 seconds off the fastest or second fastest?
