Great project your doing :D love the wheel refurb (y) and the cars looking great, alot of hard work gone into it. Just wondering what the wheel offset is for an uno mk2 1992 1.0 i.e as i want to get some wheels.

Dan

i think its like et35 or 38? i cant remember, not sure about what mine are!
but dont get massive wheels! :p these have made me do alot of work to allow them to only just fit  just ordered 5mm spacers all round for them! ;)
and my uno is only lowered -35mm i would prefer 45mm or more but dont think id'd have much luck :p

double post but oh well!
got 5mm spacers and wobbly bolts from richie today! so happy :D
also got some bits from fiat for brake regulator! :)

I was just looking at your 5mm spacers in the pic you posted and wondered what Wobbly bolts are and what the advantage is over non-wobbly bolts are? and also how comes you have 10 wobbly bolts and not 8 or 16? lol :yum:

wobbly bolts allow you to fit 100pcd wheels from say a vauxhall corsa onto a fiat punto etc. etc. fiat being 4x98 and vauxall 4x100, the wobblys allow for movement to adjust the pcd (y) and i didnt realise i had 10 untill i went to fit them LOL  Do'h!

Update:
I got some more welding done today, also took the carpets out and some sound proofing that was falling to bits!
Began to clean the floors and spray up the bits to tidy it up! will put carpet in for mot so it looks neater then will be coming out! so needs to be looking pukka inside!
got spacers fitted and handbrake adjusted so it actually works :)

on a fiat :O:p

It's looking very nice :)

But please, don't go and chav it up. It looks clean and neat, rather than the "bolting bits on because I can" look.

How old are you now by the way? Any luck with the insurance?
You do know that any modifications done to a car increases the price, and what with you being a young, male, new to driving driver, your price will already be quite high.
Alloys can also help push the price up - I didn't have alloys on when I got my insurance done. However I have since added the "unwantable" MK1 originally Uno alloys (AlexGS - they are that arent they?) which to the insurance company are just as 'alloyish' as all the really expensive ones. The fact that no one will want to steal mine is besides the point to the insurance company. :(

im 18 today matey, and im not that kind of person ;) i think i have a decent taste as ive matured from being 15 when i got the car!
Insurance is not much of a biggy tbh :) its a near enough standard car, just with some alloys and an exhaust, alloys put te price up by £20 last time i checked and i have enough money.
besides uno turbo soon ;)

my bumper and front grill are off atm, due to workage :p
need to get smaller wheels and put them on though as 17" is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too big! 14" or 15" ftw!!

looool
carpet is in after some touch up with white paint on floor!
bumper grille is chopped out and in need of another coat of satin black!
coming together :)
