Technical uno injector in sporting ??

Right firstly i must say that im not too great at all this technical stuff but ill try my best. I was at motorworld today and manager (quite a nice chap) said that i might want to try puttin a 1.4 uno injector in to get a bit more umph.
I can understand the concept but surely i would have to change other things and it may not make a lot of difference, just after any thoughts and tips if u think it may be a gud idea!

If you have done a load of mods to the engine and are having fuel trouble, it might be an option.

If you haven't, then the ecu will adjust the fuelling to suit what the lambda says, so will make not a jot of difference.

and in the times when it is not using EGO correction, it'll will overfuel - assuming the UT is SPI. If not, then it won't work at all.
