my fuel cap is broken completly, its ****ed and the surround of it is, and the metal is a bit rusty round the edge, so, those rally ones with the metal fuel cap and then the metal ring which sticks round the edge, which one fits the uno? i would rather a black metal one rather than the silver, but not chrome has to tbe the non shiney silver.

Im taking a guess here but my answer would be none.

The way i'd tackle it would be to remove the fuel tank, remove the fuel filler neck and the fuel filler tank (mini plastic one on the mk2), remove the old filler piece, then grind out or use a dremel tool to cut out a nice round hole (removing dead metal in process), then you can fit anything you want to! :)

The "Rally" fuel caps you're talking about are Max Power Chav crap. Don't fit one else I'll have to slap you.

Trust me if its bubbling up or showing rust its worse than it appears, wait until the mud under your arches is dry, then use a broom, or a dustpan brush and brush ALL of the mud off of the arch, and have a look up and see whats going on i suppose..

And for the record i have to agree max power style 'chrome' fuel fillers look tacky, if anything maybe rub down the old one you have an spray it body colour, see if that looks any good??

i'd like to know where you can get a metal fuel cap from too, you can still buy the original plastic fuel caps and surrounds from fiat, there not expensive,

i had mine all colour coded looks good i think

both are for the uno, the left one, black, from an old mk1 70sx....the right was for my red uno turbo, i'd almost forgotton all about it till i saw this thread....i'm sure it would be easy to clean, rub down, key and respray it comes with a surround for the bodywork, and a promise that after tonight, it will never see the light of day again, nor adorn the flank of an uno till mr freeze does his thing on satans back yard:p

so, that being made clear:p you want the black plastic original?
