Hi All,

I’m wondering if at any meet ups there has been a car with decks + Mixer mounted in the boot with a low power Stereo FM Transmitter. Everyone could tune in and sound off – anywhere! – (y)

You could objectively measure who’s Uno kicks out the highest SPL.

I wonder where each of us would stand (or sit) under current UK law if we just happened to be within a 1 mile radius

Can you see where my stealth parcel shelf is heading

:D Very Different.

I couldnt get away with turntables, the records would jump like crazy...

Also, the shelf prob wont be wide enough for a pair of 1210s with a mixer
Ok I haven’t fully worked through the logistics -yet :)

Maybe If I get a big enough spoiler one could place the decks + mixer on itl lol.

You’d have to mix while parked up on less windy days unless anyone fancy’s some DJ acrobatics? You could have a harness (y).

Perhaps if I get Patchable CD Players instead – They’d fit and there’s no tone arm to catch in the wind so my acrobat could mix all the way up to 95 mph lol. CD mixing just ain’t the same :yuck:

I’d prob. play back some pre-recorded shows from my head unit while on the move, but could still be transmitting

I do remember seeing a car from the 1940’s on TV, which had a gramophone that could play 7” records, I think while on the move.

The 1940!

Please excuse the extra dose of Saturday morning facetiousness…
Regards All,

I've seen a couple of cars that have decks and a mixer countersunk in the parcel shelf, but they were estate cars i think

Could have the decks in the parcel shelf, and a pull out shelf for the mixer? But like you said, CD decks would be the best option, even if they aint that realistic (cant say i've played properly on them tho. Only a pair of expensive ones in harrods :D)
