General underbody opinions?

about the same length of time it'll take before you're unbelievably bored at the weekend.....:)

is that so? doing any maintenance related job on a car is never fun nor entertaining.....
wherever i get bored or not at the end of the day at least im making effort to make my car roadworthy and safe to be on our roads, unlike some people out there that dont bother an ounce to maintain their cars, i may of left it a bit too long to do it but its solid still so which means i best get it done before that goes from that status to a rust bucket on wheels like the majority of mk2s are ending up like(y)

seeing as everyone has now stopped!
i like to repeat myself:D
i get paid on friday should be a tasty payday too, considering ive done overtime recently!
from that lovely note, ill get on the job of restoring my underside(y)
at the same time i wish i never posted this now cause its got out of hand too quick:bang:
while i still respect everyones views and comments its time i got busy with my car(y)
thanks!

im quiet tempted by the S50 for the inner sills that you can see or touch :)

I take it you feed the lance in - and spray, since it fires in 4 directions, if you twist the "lance" as you pull it out it'll make it spray everywhere and allow it to coat everything

handy thing is the punto has Sill bungs on the bottom, pop them out and you can spray away

i'd be worried the internal access means your car will stink of it for a while :(

Yes I have some pics in car care I think from when I did my EVO I did it both ways in each hole to ensure even coverage it smells for a couple of days

cheers guys:)
will check those products out when near a computer, now when you say scrape do you mean wire brush on those areas that either bubbling or starting to rust etc? i was thinking instead of using a manual wire brush is get a wire brush drill bit instead, any specific one i need that'll do the job just right that'll remove underseal and get to bare metal?:)
thanks!

Inspired by your pictures I am going to attack the underside of my spare wheel area tonight.
All the comments are well-meant I am sure. :)

If you're selling the car next year, I'd forget using Dynax or dinitrol, unless you have really deep pockets. Just use traditional waxoyl instead, it's good enough for your needs for this next year. 1 can at about £10 will do it.

while everyones views on here are much respected by myself but i have been to an mot place to get an opinion, and they said its all good i got nothing to worry about, as its all solid all floor pans are good, spare wheel area is all good and said that area is non-structual. he had a good poke around with his tool and was happy to say thats passable:) even the sills are good.

he did mention these cars are not known to rot, is this true? and he made a good point saying on other hand a fiesta rots like anything!:D but everyone knows fiestas are rust buckets on wheels anyway;)

again thanks everyone all respect to you lot!:)

You can get as many opinions as you have time for....

meaning? i think an opinion from someone that does mot's day after day i think that should be sufficient enough to say my under chassis is at mot standards as of right now, not say it will be in the future but i wont have the car that long to find out as im selling up most likely next year.:)
