General under bonnet sensor

While driving home this evening a warning screen was popping up and beeping indicating that my bonnet was open but it was actually shut and then when I got home and locked the carit gave a loud beep when I locked it and it wouldnt double lock not untill I applied pressure on the bonnet then it locked and double locked ok but as soon as I let go the bonnet the alarm went off on me,can anyone here tell me where the sensor is and if there is a quick cure ,thanks in advance John.:bang:

It is next to the main bonnet catch, where the cable connects. It is activated by the catch itself. Check it isn't loose or out of position, if it is faulty it is a cheap simple thing to replace, although it is a bit fiddly.

Thanks I went out and had a look I found it and I pushed the sensor up a wee bit as it must have moved all seems ok now many thanks
