The beams on my headlights are far too low (beam cut off is less than 10m on dip beam), after several visits to my local dealer, they say they are working correctly, they don't seem to have any idea beyond the fact that they switch on OK. Any Ideas? Also can anyone recommend a good service dealer in North Liverpool area

I think the xenon lights have auto height adjustment and I read somewhere about somebody having to have it recalibrated to get the level right. I believe there is a sensor on axle or something which needs to be set up.

The dealer is supposed to have checked all this but if this rain ever lets up enough I am going to get under and see if I can adjust the sensors to bring the beam up a bit
thanks

I think it has to be done using the diagnostic socket, I will try and find out for you from the CD I have.

You will most likely need the Fiat diagnostic equipment, which im guessing you dont have. I had the same problem with my Skoda, dealers saying they're fine when they're bloody not!

(If its the same as VAG) They have to turn the self leveller off with the diag. computer, adjust the lights as normal, then turn the self leveller back on.

Mine have finally been sorted, and they are absolutely awesome- full beam doesnt make that much difference! But... they are too high  I get flashed loads now
