I have a 2001/51 reg fiat ulysse 2.0 jtd s. I brough it the other week from an auction and unfortunatly the last owner had cleverly removed the engine management bulb
so that when i jumped in to drive it home it wouldnt rev above 3000 r.p.m. I looked around on the internet and found that i probably needed a new airflow meter. i replaced all the dashboard bulbs and found that if i removed the old airflow meter the engine management light went off but the stop light came on and constantly flashed and also it would rev above 3000rpm but still be very underpowered. My new airflow meter arrived and i have fitted it but it hasnt made any difference it still revs over 3000r.p.m but is very underepowered. Also all lights go off apart from the stop light that is constantly on even when the engine isnt running. You can hear the turbo working and there isnt any nasty smoke at all. Ive heared that it could be the e.g.r valve how to i bypass it to check it is this thanks loz
