Styling Ulysse t track removal

Can someone please tell me how to remove t-tracks from a Ulysse please. I'm picking some up from a guy breaking one on Sunday and dont wanna damage em getting them off if he hasnt removed them already.
If someone could give me some pointers I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance

It's very simple. You need a hex bolt attachment (not sure of the right term) and it just unscrews along the track. Each side is a single track if I recall. Just have to prise of plastic covers each end. Nothing to it. Helps if you are 7 ft tall, or take some small steps with you. (or balance yourself standing on the sills)

Just got a set of bars and tracks myself, all seems easy to install, 1 question though,

The hex bolts are covered in mastic, to be safe I think I might need to remove the old mastic and replace with new, but I don't know what product would be suitable,
Thought a weatherproof sealant would be OK, but not sure.

you can use stuff called tigerseal it dries forming a bonded rubber coating pick it up at all motor stores

Finally got around to fitting t track for roof bars this week, just in need of a bit of advice regarding fitting the bars.

Ideally a good description of how they are fitted, I have tried and I was quite difficult.
If there is a 'method' to doing it.

Also when sliding them, they were quite stiff, is there a lubriant I could use to help this.
