Technical Ulysse multifunction display

Hi everyone,

An update and request for help with my ulysse's lack of display.

A few weeks ago I bought a ulysse that didn't have a display. The chap I bought it from said it was just the sat nav! I realise now that it does a fair bit more.

For the first few days the radio played but kept stopping for a while whilst the SOS button flashed. After a few days the SOS stopped flashing and the radio played without interruption.

A week later, the alarm goes off and battery is dead. To cut this part of the story short it turns out that the radio was draining the battery. We have now taken this out and now have a hole where it used to be ( at least it matches the hole where the display should be!)

Now for the advice part. Should I just put in a different radio and forget about the rt3? I have been searching for a display but can only find the non sat nav one. Is it possible to connect the bigger colour screen to it instead.

Does anybody have a picture of the display I need? I have looked at the c8 and peugeot options but still can't confirm what I need and if it will fit!!!!

Hi, yes it does although there is a hole where the display is meant to be. However I have been told that I need the display that doesn't have the buttons either side as mine definitely has the sat nav functionality. Is this right??

I'm thinking of selling the rt3 unit as Im fed up of ringing around etc. any idea how much it's worth? I see they go on eBay but thought someone on here may want it??

Probably as this C8 didn't have a RT3, my advise is keep hold and of it and one will turn up eventually, I'm always on the look out for cheap ones to break.
