Hi

Since last night i cannot turn the headlights on, all the other functions are working fine from the switch stalk. All the fuses in the engine bay and under the glove box are ok. Anyone has any idea of what could be the problem?

Regards

Hi Maisie

Thanks for you suggestion. I had a look on ebay and i fund one for a Peugeot 807 which should fit my car, i think.

Regards

Unfortunately, i have already bought it from Ebay for £45 included delivery. The seller said that the switch comes from an Ulysse 2.0 jtd Dynamic- same model like mine. I hope it will fit and work fine, fingers crossed!!

Also, when i take the steering wheel off, i will check the airbag connection- i have the airbag light on and next month i have the mot.

I am not sure if this car has got any relay. If there is one can anybody tell me where is it? In the meanwhile i am still searching for the right switch. An ebay seller send me the wrong one which has the auto mode for the lights and wipers which may not work properly.

I didn't think the Dynamic had auto lights? The Prestigio definitely has and maybe Eleganza models too.

put this item number into Fleabay 271115249801 it may be worth you purchasing a copy.

Hi Frantic Fran

My car has not the automode lights. I bought the correct serial number switch but still the headlight won`t go on, that`s let me understand that the problem is not the switch anymore. As i said in my first post i checked all the fuses in the glove box and are ok. I will try to remove the body computer and check all the contacts, is there any fuses related to the headlights? I do not have the instruction book, can anybody tell me what is the correct fuse number for the headlights? I can hear a click when i turn the lights on, it might be the relay or something else next to the fuses.

Hi Carlos321,
My problems are documented on here whereas my lights would stay on but also various light functions wouldn't work, to cut a long story short the culprit was the underbonnet fuse box being faulty. Under the fusebox are relays sandwiched inbetween the fuses under the top layer.Find a used fusebox from either Citroen/peugeot /or fiat models, they don't have to be from a ulysse as long as the layout of the fuses are the same as yours then it will fit. It's certainly worth a try and my replacement box was only £10 so not too expensive good luck with it.

Thanks harrybozing

I will replave the fuse box under the bonnet as you suggested, I saw a couples on ebay. I will let you know!

changed the fuse box under the bonnet but not luck!! I am going to take the car to the mechanic tomorrow :bang:

thanks for all your suggestions!

Hi, Sorry to hear that the fusebox didn't sort your problems out.I replaced various items at great expense but all in vain,so I eventually took it to an independent specialist who sorted it out within an hour. Replacing the fusebox on mine solved about 7 faults instantly. These vehicles are an electronic nightmare and I wish you well in your quest.
