Hi everyone

This is my first post as I'm not actually a Fiat owner, yet!

I'm really hoping some of you enthusiasts can help me.

I am currently looking at buying a used Fiat Ulysee, 2001 reg on Y plate. The DVLA documentation says that the colour is Blue. The actual car I would describe as a metallic green with maybe a hint of blue. I know that one side has been resprayed but i'm trying to establish if the whole car has actually had the colour changed.

Would anyone out there know if the 'Blue' for that year looks more like green?! I have actually just noticed an old thread that takes you to a car sales link talking about a ulysee having a new front end on it and that colour is the same colour as the car I'm thinking of buying and I see it is also described as 'blue'.

Can anyone help, pretty please?!!

Thanks.

i remember that thread it was a ulysse wi a peugeot 806 grill and headlights fiat badge wi a big u shaped chrome bit round it  for sale on ebay form a car sales showroom i sent him an email no reply .if you have the vin number this link will tell you the make and model and colour of car http://vin.stronghold.com/lookup.aspx but if your not sure get the AA or RAC to look at it better safe then sorry .overspray on the rubbers is a sign of painting i cant see them changing the whole car colour mind ,if you lifted the bonnet you would see the colour right away .i have seen a ulysse written off for a small amount of frontal dammage cause of the price of parts .hope this helps(y) and good luck

Thanks for your reply. I've had the AA out and they've given it the all clear. I think it's just the description of 'blue' is a bit misleading, as to me it seems more green than blue!

I'm really looking forward to picking the car up now!

Regards
Nicky

It's not green! It's blue! I should know as it's the colour of mine.

BTW... What did you pay? Private/dealer? mileage?
