Hi let me tell you a story, and hopefully someone can advise and point me in the right direction.

Bought car with 54k on clock. Previous owner advise me she'd had a few problems starting the vehicle from cold, it had been to the garage and no fault found. fast forward 3k miles and occasional starting issues, but no real problem. The DPF fluid leve ltoo low warning has started, and now its become an absolute bugger to start.

This is what happens...... If you turn the key and release, it will fire but not run, press the throttle and nothing it wont rev, foot hard down and nothing. No warning lights or anything. Now if I hold the key over as it turns eventually it does fire and runs lumpy and eventually it revs up and drives like a dream. Starting from warm perfect, not a peep.

Who out there has any experience of this and a solution?

glowplugs seem the obvious answer, you could always fork out the eighty odd quid and get your Fiat dealer to stick it on their diagnostics.
