hi i have a ulysse 1.9td s it has previously run ok very slow but otherwise fine then this morning i went out tried it and it wouldnt start, i noticed the fuel gauge was low and i was on a slope (facing forward) so i got £10 diesel still no luck ive tried manually pumping and theres fuel getting into the pump from the filter but thats about as far as my skills go ,, is there any special procedure when you have starved the vehicle of fuel assuming this is the problem .... just to point out the plugs look brand new ive owned the vehicle a few months so other than that cant tell you much more. any help would be appreciated thanks

What plugs look new? The heater plugs are not very visible on these. Try opening one of the injector pipes and see if diesel appears when engine turns over. Test heater plugs to see if you are getting power to them. If no fuel at injectors, cut off solenoid could be gone.

ive had a good look over it and even had 2 rac mechanics have a look and one of them is 99% certain its the imobiliser theres definately fuel getting to the pump but not much happening after that so time to start looking at the imobiliser
