The ride in our Ulysse is absolute rubbish on pot holed British roads. All four are now due for replacement - does anyone here have a recommendation? Low noise would be good, too. Thanks!

Dunlop hold the reputation for quiet tyres.
What are you running on now (inc size load/speed)?

If you enter your reg No (or OH options) into a decent tyre site - the fuel economy, wet grip & noise levels should be listed.

The car currently runs on Hankook Optinos. (215/60/R16)

I have looked at mytyres, black circles, etc. But the does the noise figure indicate a better ride? At times it feels like the thing is on solid rubber!

? There’s more than one Optimo version.
I thought you maybe on 15” – but it’s argued that 16” is the optimum size for comfort.

I’d be inclined to look within the 215/65R16 envelope. Certainly options to get noise down to ≤ 68dB, provide +10.75mm of sidewall for comfort, & maybe a price advantage. But you’d need to advise your insurer.

I misquoted the tyre size - they are 65 profile on 16 inch rims already. I'm zoning in on Falken Ziex ZE-914. Reviews rate them highly for comfort - and grip.

Hi Brittleware
did you go for Falken in the end as I am also looking for a new set of tyres !
reviews on Falken do seem good but local garage has a set of original fit Pirelli P6 fitted for £380
not sure which ones to get
also read good reviews on Dunlop SP

Haven't yet bought them - that's a very good price for the P6 tyres, though. Black Circles lists them at £110 each. Like the ride reviews on the Falkens - probably will fit them within the near future and report. Fact is the ride quality of Eurovans is pretty dreadful. Particularly for us who years ago got used to Citroen CX, XM and 2CVs.

Yes I thought price was good !
Having them fitted this afternoon will let you know what they are like.
To be honest I thought the ride in my Ulysse was pretty good but have never owned a proper Citroen so maybe ignorance is bliss ;)
