Hi, the current size of my wheels is 205/55/R16 and i want to upgrade to some nice alloys size 205/55/R17 and 225/55/R17 , the guy is selling me 2 differnt sized alloy tyres?
Is this okay?
Which tyre should go where?
Thanks :)

Those replacement sizes make no sense you'd want the same size all round and would need smaller profile tyres other wise the wheel diameter will be bigger and through the speedo off

... Is this okay? ...

Check OH
All the Bravo wheel/tyre sizes listed are designed to rotate at around 807/8 (± 4) revs/ml.
205(or 225)/55R17 would be way outside that at 779 (& 754) revs/ml.

Yeah agreed they make no sense ,i have 17" alloys an my tyres sre 225/45/17 all round

If you wanted different alloy sizes, put the bigger alloys on the back, However I have absolutely no understanding as to why you would want to. As everyone above has said. Those tyre sizes are going to completely screw with your spedometer readings and mileage counter, (which is illegal). I'm not even sure they will fit in the arches correctly.

Agree with what others have said re. unsuitability of these tyre sizes F and R.

The tyre sizes you've quoted (different rolling radius F and R ) will also probably cause the ABS warning light to come on.

Suggest you try another tyre supplier !

Al.
