add extra 2 psi per inch bigger than standard
add extra 2 psi per inch bigger than standard
its rule of thumb passed onto me by people who know a lot more about suspension an tyre set up than you or i
The pressure is measured in Pounds Per Square Inch, so it doesn't matter how big the tyre is. Its not measured in Pounds Per Tyre.
But just for the record the manual say:
1.9 JTD
Tyres: 185/60 R14 82H
Standard Inflation:
2.2 Bar on the front (31.90 PSI)
2.1 Bar on the rear (30.45 PSI)
Fully Laden Inflation:
2.4 Bar on the front (34.80 PSI)
2.3 Bar on the rear (33.35 PSI)
Space Saver Spare Wheel:
4.2 Bar (60.91)
The pressure is measured in Pounds Per Square Inch, so it doesn't matter how big the tyre is. Its not measured in Pounds Per Tyre.
They don't actually. Its not the sizes of the tyres that have different pressures, its the cars they're on.that is what i used to say until the experts told me otherwise.
fiat themselves list diferent presures for diferent sizes
see higher presure for the bigger 16v sporting wheels than the smaller 16v non sporting wheels
I know its late and your eyes are not what they once were but look again and read toads post.see higher presure for the bigger 16v sporting wheels than the smaller 16v non sporting wheels
Can't disagree with that, I put 30 all round and never have any issuesoh well fiat never get their presures right any way that why you got books that tell you difrent things an stilo section is full of threads about tyre edge wear, if i run my 17s at what fiat says for the 15s i get edge wear and use more fuel, but after adjusting as advised by elite they wear even an get better mpg
