Yeh soo..

Driving along tonight me and my mate in the car...was going through a round about...

And this woman just keeps going..i had the right of way, she should have gave way to her right if you know what i mean and thats the direction i was comming in.

Anyway yeh, so it was a navy blue clio, she didnt even look and she kept going...by this time i was half way through the round about...or a 1/3 through it...

So i slam on the brakes and the horn at the same time, while the ground is really wet my tyres lock up and i start to skid while trying to dodge this woman who just keeps driving..

I nearly go into the back of her, i must have missed her by an inch..so my car slides all over the road, and then finally i smash into the kerb..and she drives off

I tried to catch upwith her but she was gone, my front left alloy is all kerbed, and also it took a chunk out of the tyre aswell...i aint happy

Typical huh?

Bloody women drivers, they hit roundabouts and all small signs of intelligence go out the window. I swear some of them treat round abouts in a "First there first round manner"... probably the same women who thinkt hat because they are doing 70mph on a motorway that they need to sit in the middle lane.

Please note that this is a generalisation and doesnt reflect on the driving skills of any femlale members of fiat-scotland.com especially scary ones who may hit me at the dundee meet

ho ho...

talking of women drivers, just nipped over the parkway some ald wifie in a micra pulled out at the top of the scotstown road (from a 30mph onto a road where we're sitting at 50mph) THEN stops 2 seconds later to let someone cross the road (and obviously had not checked her rear view mirror!)

Luckily the 'scort has good brakes. The punto would not have stopped (and I wasn't speeding either)

pfft! People who drive Micra's should be rounded up into a corner and shown the meaning of driving.

i dont understand motorways

lol, im not so bad any more, but when i first arrived in glasgow i nearly cried when i hit this 5 lane thing  used to constantly accidently turn a corner and end up on it haha.

also, 70mph on the motorway is illegal isnt it? i thought it was 50mph on the M8

and yes, women drivers do cause me a lot of stress

I dunno I feel less nervous around male drivers, they are - typically I think - less likely to do anything spontanious and dangerous. But thats just my personal opinion of female drivers in Glasgow - perhaps its different up north like.

But I mean theres always exceptions, like that broad who drove the transit van on top gear

in Dundee, its all the boy racers that rally around the streets that are bad drivers in my opinion :) and old people....

again a generalisation, and does not represent the views of anyone else other than myself

Got to agree lassie's sometimes have no idea when it comes to driving, my sister is a nutter, my g/f is pretty good but no so confident when it comes to city driving and parking

think it really depends on the female, i know i have moments where i do something really stupid (normally when im in my own car) but my dad and david seem to trust me (well they both lend me their cars)

I know not all females are like this, but damn the majority of them are ..just couldnt believe she done it!

Everyone's driving standards have fallen in the last 5 years or so.
I think it's because cars are so easy to drive now with power assisted steering, light clutch and brakes, etc. plus all the safety gear so if you do have an accident its less likely to hurt.

An old guy pulled out in front of me at a Tescos car park during the holidays. I only missed him by an inch or so. I was in the Shogun so it's not like he couldn't see me or anything.
Oh and he was driving a bloody Volvo

Yea i agree that driving standards are quite poor, maybe its got something to do with the training also? The thing that drives me up the wall is tailgaiters, do they not realise what will happen if i have to jam my brakes on?!?!? quite often a flash of the brake lights is not enough, so i jab my brake to kick the back of the car up, scares the **** out of anyone jammed up your arse

Exactly what i do mate, a light touch so your brake lights come on at the back and they back off...

I go one step further though and jab my brake so my car bucks up at the back too, gives the person behind the shits
