yes but its no where near as good as a pressure washer based foam lance

soak them in a strong hot mix of washing up liquid then rinse then re wash

oh and roughly how long would say a 5 litre bottle of snow foam last?

or is that like asking how long is a piece of string?

yes ;)

no i put (using Bilt hamber snow foam) 250ml ish into the bottle add 750ml of water

this is enough to wash 2 cars....... if that helps

no thanks button hear but thanks haha

hmm my step dad is funny with the pressure washer :bang: i think its coz were on a meter, so i might have to settle for a hose one :(

ill soak the mf's now then while the parents are away

thanks again

My mum did this to a big drying towel of mine and now it hardly dries anything!

5L of snowfoam will last ages! I've had mine at least 8 months and only used about 1/2 a tub, and i clean my car at least once a week along with 3 others every other week or so

But the pump sprayer isnt anywhere near as good as a proper foam lance as suggested by Andy Monty.

I would possibly suggest getting a pre-wash instead: http://www.waxamomo.co.uk/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=678&idcategory=12

and then spray it on. I picked up a 3L pump sprayer from home bargain today for £1.99!

There are many arguments for and against snowfoam - see the Detailing World forum, here's a test from Wolf's chemicals (this guy has some fabulous products that everyone is raving about recently) who suggests snow foam is useless in this test

I do use it though as i see it as a good way of loosening the dirt in the same way you would letting dishes soak in Fairy liquid, but in all honesty you can't use it as a touchless wash. Based on this, a pre-wash does the same job.

However snowfoaming is good fun and looks really cool! (y)

cheers for the advice, i have had a snoop round dw in my spare time and heard about snow foam not being very use full i think im attracted to it because it looks so fun ;)

pressure washer uses less water than a hose usually

most PW's have a liters per hour or liters per min output rating

just stick the open end of the hose in a bucket and see how much it "uses" to show him ;)

i think i might just sneakily use it when he is out, my stepdad is a funny one sometimes
