Two Amp Wiring Help

I currently have a 4 gauge wiring kit to power a JL Audio E1200 mono block which will accept 8 gauge fine. Being delivered is a DLS CA23 which has a 5 gauge power cable minimum recommended. Yet would it be fine to keep the 4 gauge cable and use a distribution block to feed both amps on an 8 gauge or will the DLS CA23 be underpowered and be better with a 1/0 gauge into two 4 gauge power cable?

If so where is the best place to get a good 1/0 gauge cable from as knukoncept are currently out of stock.

8 gauge will be fine. Its only 260w RMS over a very short distance.

i use 3 amps (1 for sub, 1 for 6x9's and 1 for drivers doors) i used 3 amp wires running from the battery but didnt to a complete mess of it, i kept it tiidy and clean (no wires showing!) and used a phono lead splitter for each amp
