It's a nod to the old 590 GT.
This is 50th anniversary Abarth...

As someone that doesn't like 'clutter' on the external surfaces of my cars I don't get adding badges that don't belong. A bit like a corsa with a V8 badge on the back, everyone knows it shouldn't be there so why do it?

Lol. Know what you mean, it's only two extra letters though. Hardly a Corsa V8!
: P
Is it ok if the car is modified with some 'gt' parts?

Hey, each to their own. Just like any modification your going to get lovers and haters and as I've said before if we all liked the same thing what a boring world we'd live in. Personally I am waiting for the results of your remap (when you get it done) as that could be interesting :D But that's for another thread ;)

Yeah, I guess so. Just did it to see how it would turn out. Not sure about the whole thing being on an angle and position to be honest. Not sure it'll stay this way.
I like to keep thing as OEM as poss (almost all mods are using Fiat/Abarth parts) but the GT badge is Alfa.. Which I suppose is still Fiat Group but outside the Fiat/Abarth marque.
Maybe one mod too far eh? : /
I really want a remap. I'll post results as soon as it gets done. I keep finding other things to spend on that take priority tho.

I like it - it's pretty subtle IMO and undo-able if needs be. Also, I like the angle.

Here is my additional badge:

I like that badge there Stu! With a car as customisable as the 500 is why shouldn't we create our own 'editions' ; )

I've just been looking for some pics of an old car of mine, but unfortunately I can't find them (pre-digital!).

I had a hot rodded 2CV and I had a really nice badge made foe the back which said 0.6L 4V - with the 4V in red. It was in the early nineties when every car that had sporting pretensions had to have a red 16V badge on the back.

Love it stu! Lol. I'd love an 875 badge in the style of the 595, 695 with 'scorpione' in script underneath.
Wonder who does custom badges these days?

Need to design something in a graphics program, then find a "Geek" with a 3D Printer to print it out, finishing with a bit of Chrome plating and bobs your whatsit.

That way you can get the font / style you want

Maybe a neat little business idea now maplins are selling the 3D Printers for £700.
