I have a 1998 Bravo HLX which comes with 8 speakers 4 of which i believe are tweeters situated on the dash and in the roof at the back when i bought the car second hand it came with a s**t CD player i have since installed a Alpine unit and when fitting it saw a socket of wires were left over. The cables were very thin and i was wandering if these were for the tweeters. If they are is there a way to include them into the wiring for the Head Unit???
If they are not how can i check if my tweeters are working cos they don't seem to be?

Wish i had seen that guid before, i ran a fresh perminant live from my fuse box:I oh well.

Should there be much sound coming from my tweeters, i don't think they are working[?]

To test them, turn the bass down (which is what should come out the bottom door speakers), should be a bit easier to hear the tweets..
