Done a few water fed turbo conversions,
Have a few issues with heat spiking on boost using oem cooling, hold the boost and watch the temp gauge rise.
The old sierra cosworths got round it with adding after coolers to the turbo water outlet pipes.
I've solved conversions before by fitting the hot water outlet from the turbo to the bottom of the rad.
I removed the drain plugs and used a adapter that screws into the hole then connect to the turbo pipe and instant after cooling :D
also works well after switch off to remove latent heat with gravity circulation if plumbed correctly.
I've never worked on a cinq so don't know if it would work of if this helps, just an idea for you.

one more thing what year is the car ?
not sure but ALL 899 sei/cinqs have the smaller one

why not just fit a cheap oil cooler for a turbo aftercooler?

I looked at rigging up the oil cooler off a Cavalier GSI but it was far too much pipe work and a long run,
Other problem was air locking, because the cooler would have to of been below rad level to get cooled by the air,
Also looked into making a water to water cooler out of an old secondary heat exchanger from a boiler but again things got way out of hand and was gonna cost to much for the gains achived,
So found the drain plug method to be the cheapest and and most effective £ for £.

Cost me £0

I was looking over a dodge pick up a few months back that had an awesome twin turbo v8 motor in it, He had a completely separate cooling system for water from the turbos made up with electric water pumps and 2 bike radiators, but there again he did have lots of space to fit it all
