Technical Turbo Conversion

Alright guys, me posting again! Just wondering, ive got a 1108 engine, the trim is 60s not sure if thats a fire engine or what but just wondering, one of you guys says about gettin a turbo engine in, my mates quite good with cars but is it really difficult? also how much would it cost to buy one? what parts would i need to get?

the 60s is a fiat engine.. the 1108 which is the same from the cinq sporting and sei sporting. (perfect for punto 60 conversion )

anyway,

if you mean a turbo conversion by dropping in the 1.4, its a big job. yes ital fit but ital also mean a complete reqire and exhaust and gearbox and drive shafts etc. plus probably more than that.

if you mean turboing the 1.1. It hasnt been done in distributor form (or atleast not in kit form). the engine in the cinq can be turboed and vad offer a kit for around 1k. i dont know how this kit would work with the setup on the uno as the engine management system is different.

is your engine a carb or injection? if injection then you could be onto something

theoretialy it should be as easy as the cento conversion.

covert to injection (the cento lot are always getting rid on 1108 engines) then turbo it

forget turboing the 1108 or doing an engine swap.just buy an uno turbo.
eaiser and easier to insure than a modded 1.1
