Hi Guys, hopefully youve seen the start of my build diary in the blog section.

Looking for some advice for the internal engine bay area

1) If i was to swap out my cam any recommendations on what to and any part numbers

2) Fuel Pump, im looking at a facet fuel pump which runs at 2.5 to 4 PSI, What does the standard 1.1 SEI pump run at any ideas

3) Skim the head

4) Using Bike Carbs off a Kawasaki ZZR600 with a specially made inlet manifold of Bogg Brothers

5) any other ideas that i can use.Engine has to stay below 1140cc capacity

No Restrictions exc Turbo or Supercharge and must be under 1140cc

The engine has to start as the original on the original position

Putting it bluntly,

I want to be Club Champion

I want to be racing in the nationals , qualifiers start in April

To be that good you not only need to ba able to drive, but you need the car behind you and you only get what you pay for.

It might not happen on the first build but i need the knowledge that i get from you very helpful guys and gals on here.

ill start will the simple upgrades, (the engine is coming out so nows the time to do it)

Well if you want to win and be the best then money does not matter. So....
Decent cage, I'd say sparco
Coilovers all round, avo?adjustable top mounts, Polybushed arms and custom rear arms
Biggest lightest brakes you can get, I've got wilwood powerlites and 179.4mm rotors.
Lightest wheels you can get to fit over the brakes.
Quaife Lsd and a gearbox to suit your needs.
Ally or steel flywheel and a paddle clutch
Baffled sump
Lightened balanced knife edged crank
Custom rods and pistons to take you to 1140cc
Give the head to Mr GC and let him sort it out along with the cam.
Sutable ITB's, carbs belong in the dark ages
Decent programmable ECU, there loads out there
