Technical Trunk

Hello everybody,
this is my first post, even if I'm usual in reading this forum.

I got a 1.9 jtd Stilo and from few days a problem occur on the boot(guess it's the right english word...).
When I'm on th street, especially when I turn right, the led of the "open boot" lights on (and "beep beep beep" warning sounds), even if the trunk is closed
When I lock the car, some flashes inform me that the car is not perfectly closed. I open the car, open the trunk, close the trunk and lock the car again. The situation turns to normal (no flashes) but when I start the car again, the problem with the "open boot" led appears again.

Can someone help me?

Probably yes.
But I hope there is a hand made solution (something to close better, for example) 'cause the "beep beep beep" anytime I turn right drives me nervous...

I had some of the faults you mentioned - it was the striker plate that was incorrectly adjusted. If it's just on the brink, it might cause the message to come on.

Adjust your tailgate striker (the black one that is on the car body).

Had the same problem, just needed adjusting which cured it.

Sounds like a contact problem.

I got "boot open" message while driving when i incidently go in a big bump and i suppose the trunk sensonr is too sensitive.

In the end, I solved it.
I passed trough the assistance, they said "Uhm, mmh, let me check", a little of oil to lubricate the lock... and now all it works. High tech, as you can see.
