Technical trouble with head lights

Hi ,
My headlights are all mixed up ,when dipped beam is on one light is ok ,but the other is full beam. when full beam is on ,full beams dont work.

could it be bulbs or a relay please identify where to look.

I had this problem on an old Panda a few years back. It was a loose connection. Could be as simple as that, or perhaps dodgy contacts somewhere. If you can find a cheap autoelectrician then I'd get it checked out, better than guessing!

Sounds to me like a dodgy earth somewhere, check all connections in the lamp units themselves for corrosion or bad connections.

That was my feeling, same as on my old Panda. You'd have thought those simple problems would have been ironed out over the course of a decade!

my 05 doblo can be a bit temperamental when u havent used main beam for a while an u flick it on it sometimes shuts off the dipped beam but seems ok when you switch off an back on again guess mine maybe a faulty contact on the stalk or something??

Having front fog lights on when switching to main beam seems to make the dipped beam turn off completely. Perhaps this is something to do with it?
