What exactly is a tricker throttle body? Does anyone know why I'm finding it so hard to find one? :bang: Are they rare? Is tricker the brand of throttle body or something? So many questions lol
Thanks

Tricker is the username of a member here that used to make modified throttle bodies. He used to specialise in bodies for fiat fire 8v engines, boring out the inlet to allow increased airflow. I ran one on a cinq sporting once upon a time.

I've no idea if he still makes them it not.

I think postage and other commitments got in the way.

Essentially, the TBs were bored out, sleeved with stainless tube, the resulting hole bored out to 40mm and filled with a new butterfly. They are beautiful, jewel like things.

But having said that, there's nothing there that a decent model engineer couldn't do (Jenvey and all seem happy to supply the butterflies, which are the really difficult bit).

The TB from a Punto 75 can be adapted for use in a Mk1 (or SPI Cinq) and gives you 38mm.
