Tuning Tricker stopped selling throttle bodies?

Bookmarked this thread, will probably be after one in the future. Do they make all that much difference? I have used ported TBs before and only noticed a difference in throttle response?

What is the retail / price of them?

As far as we can tell, tricker has moved on to other things. Looks like david and someone else are about to go into production. Watch this space!

Just seen, someone taking orders on Performance FIAT.

Whats the web address for performance fiat Jon???

If any one is interested in a tb then pm me. Turn around will be nothing like tricker as I can only do a bit at a time. But they will look like the one I have just finished and hopefully work as well... Once again cheers for all the help and photos..

@ Davidlivings

Have you considered to make a 'replica' from the 43mm MPI tricker? With the knowledge and experience you now have this shouldn't be too difficult. I am sure there is a (small) market for this too. At least I am interested :).

P.S. Have you already tested your finished tricker? How did it perform?

Hi yeah, doing one at the moment for a friend. My tb is all on and working fine. Makes a difference to the torque for sure and the speed at which the engine will pull up the rev range, especiallt 2nd and 3rd gear. Looking to do a 1242 engine to go in the car next with a bit of porting etc to get the max benefits of a big throttle hole. If your interested i'll send you some pics when I've finished the 43mm tb. Pm your email sometime

cheers

43mm tb done..Just gaskets to cut.

Hi David,

that is again looking very nice and good that you have used the original spacer. I am curious what difference your mate will feel when he drives his car compared to the stock tb.

P.s. Did you receive my message about the porting I did with my head?

Hi i would also be intrested in a 43mm tb for the seicento mpi just let me know when there ready would they need a spacer made and if so would this be included

cheers stakes

PS is the tb in the pic above for an spi as it looks the same as the one in my cinq

No its for a mpi punto 75 engine 43mm from the stock 38mm.

I think that 43mm on a sei would be too much, plus I'm not familiar with the mpi throttle body and if it can be modified?? Someone on here will know more about that I reckon. But if its doable I'd have a go no probs.

Hi David

Cheers for the info if you ever get one and have a play then let me know

cheers stakes

ps do you know if the punto 75 head fits on the 1108 mpi bottom end and if this would be away around it

will do, I'm not sure what an mpi tb looks like on a sei,??? is it the same looking as the one in the pics???

Dunno... It looks like the Idle air circuit runs in that sectioned off bit next to the main choke??? I'd have to have one in me hand to be double sure what could be done.. Maybe you could lose the idle circuit and use the butterfly adjustment to control idle. Not sure
